November 15, 2021 – KIRKLAND, WA — Spectrum Effect® announced today that spectral analysis of RF interference is now available in Spectrum-NET for 5G NR networks.

For NR and LTE, Spectrum-NET determines the spectral characteristics of RF interference using per-PRB interference PM data contained in reports from RAN infrastructure. Spectrum-NET’s automated machine learning-driven analysis provides the industry’s most accurate RF interference classification, locating and root cause analysis.

“Operators are facing significant RF interference challenges with their newly allocated 5G NR RF bands from external sources requiring spectrum clearing, increased potential for PIM, TDD self-interference and cross border band misalignment,” commented Spectrum Effect CEO, Charles Immendorf. “Spectrum-NET’s most advanced capabilities can now be applied to NR, enabling operators to solve RF interference in the shortest possible timeframe and achieve optimal performance with their NR networks.”
