The Technical Project Manager acts as the bridge between product roadmap and customer commitments managed by Business Leaders and Customer PMs, and the software development team. The Technical Project Manager maintains the product backlog by taking input from POs and PMs. The backlog is refined as priorities change and new items are added. The Technical Project Manager ensures the software team is working on priority tasks and monitors work item progress through the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC). Progress and risk are monitored by the Technical Project Manager and communicated to Customer PMs and Business Leaders. The Technical Project Manager is involved with release planning, and works closely with the software development team through the Scrum sprint phases – sprint planning, daily stand ups, etc.

  • Monitors development progress and escalates risk to POs and Customer PMs.
  • Works with software leads to identify, escalate, and resolve software development blockers
